It is not superfluous to remember that an important part of our education is focused on becoming responsible individuals, who account for their actions and face the consequences that their behaviour may have on others.
Apart from the different criteria when thinking about social responsibility, whether appointing to a conceptual definition postulated by a well-known international organization or developing our own view, the truth is that a person or organization is socially responsible when they recognize that the values of respect, defense of future generations and others´ rights and freedom are the guide of our behaviour.
The social responsibility as a management model cannot be supported without the committed attitude of the leaders of the organizations, and committing to something means to defend an idea and make it last beyond the latest fashion and the specific interests of current trends.
Therefore, we believe that is part of our responsibility to help
spread best practices in social responsibility and share information
about this topic.
